The partnership of Mitchell & Titus LLP, the largest minority-controlled accounting, audit, tax and business advisory firm in the United States, has selected Anthony “Tony” Kendall to lead the firm as chief executive officer effective Jan. 1, 2009. Currently, Kendall serves as the firm’s vice chairman of client services and managing partner of the New York office. The firm’s founder Bert N. Mitchell, who has served as CEO and chairman of the board for nearly 35 years, will officially retire on Dec. 31, 2008, but will remain chairman of theboard until 2010. Read more
