August 12, 2008
Chevy Tahoe’s next generation of the industry’s bestselling full-size SUV is comprehensively redesigned and delivers a sharper, more precise driving feel, more power with improved, segment-leading fuel economy, increased interior refinement and improved quietness.
The new Tahoe takes over at the top of the segment in sales, quality and comfort - Tahoe has been the best-selling full-size SUV since 2001. Engineers built on Tahoe’s established credentials with a “no compromises” mantra that realized improvements in many areas of performance, quality and comfort.
GM’s new 2007 full-size SUVs are designed to be among the industry’s safest and most secure vehicles, with a 360-degree perimeter safety system of occupant protection and crash avoidance technologies. New features include roof-mounted head curtain side air bags with rollover protection for all seating rows and front-seat safety belt pretensioners that are linked to the vehicle’s sensing system to provide segment-exclusive deployment in rear-end crashes.
